A Kid-Friendly, Thirst-Quenching Review & Giveaway!

I was provided this opportunity on behalf of One2OneNetwork and Vita Coco Kids.
Although I am being compensated for this review, all opinions expressed below are honest
and my own. Thank you, One2One and Vita Coco Kids!

If there is one thing this summer has been so far, it's been tons of fun. If there's one more thing this summer has been, it's has also been hot. Really, really hot, especially these last couple of weeks.

Between trips to the zoo, play dates at the park and weekends spent at the beach, our days have been chock full of on-the-go adventures. Aside from keeping my constantly boys engaged and entertained, it is my priority as their mom to also keep them hydrated. With the myriad of drink options on the market today, it can undoubtedly be an overwhelming undertaking!

As a mom, I'm always on the lookout for healthy food and drink options that I can toss in my diaper bag or take-along thermal tote. As much as I try and push water on the boys, I like to offer them other delicious choices as well.

After all, I'm not much of a water-lover myself and tend to enjoy something sweet and fruity to quench my thirst from time to time.

Recently, Vita Coco Kids sent us a refreshing sampler pack of their brand new kids' flavors, Paradise Punch, Apple Island and Very Cherry Beach. You may recognize Vita Coco as the country's best-selling coconut water brand and now they've launched a coconut water drink specifically designed for children ages 2-8.

As a huge fan of flavored coconut water myself, I couldn't wait to share the new flavors with my boys. With only 35 calories and 8 grams of sugar per 6 fl. oz, Vita Coco Kids has fewer calories and approximately half the amount of sugar of most other children's beverages. It also contains zero artificial sweeteners and is full of electrolytes, natural fruit flavors and vitamin C.

Now that's something I don't mind sharing!

If he could read, he wouldn't have any difficulty at all deciphering the ingredients in his Vita Coco Kid's Paradise Punch. Within minutes of taking a sip, he was already asking for another "dee-wicious juice box."

Aside from the great fruity taste, one of the things I like most about the new Vita Coco Kids coconut water drink is that it's made from fresh coconut water as opposed to coconut water from concentrate, something that other brands out there are guilty of using.

With school just around the corner, Vita Coco Kids coconut water takes the stress out of packing health-conscious foods for your kids. It would be the perfect healthy addition to a snack pack or lunch box as it contains zero artificial flavors, colors or preservatives! As a mom to two under three, one of whom will be starting pre-school in the Fall, I have enough to worry about. Vita Coco Kids coconut water takes just a little bit of the worry off my shoulders.

Not only is it just good on the inside but the outside, too! Made from eco-friendly materials, each of these individually packed coconut waters is packaged in Tetra Pak, an eco- and socially-responsible form of packaging based on the use of wood fiber.

Tastes great, good for my kids and for the environment? It's a win-win! Interested in trying out Vita Coco Kids with your family?

  1. Favorite summer activity would have to be the pool. The kids love the water and I get to cool off during the hot days. Plus, it tires them out so it's a win win for all.
