A Disney Original Seeks To Teach Others About Friendship, Love and Identity in a Simply Beautiful Way. #BlankAndBow

There are few things "easy" about being a mother. As soon as those two pink lines appear, you're suddenly responsible for the life of another tiny human. Can't decide what to have for breakfast in the morning? Imagine having to plan out vaccine schedules, birth plans and pre-school registrations. Talk about overwhelming!

Even before the birth of your baby, you're subject to a cacophony of "advice," and although most of it is well-meaning, sometimes it's tinged with judgement and passive-aggressive undertones. After all, isn't the saying "everyone else knows best for your baby?" Early on you have to learn to use selective hearing, go with your mom-gut and find confidence in yourself as a mother, none of which are particularly easy in the beginning.

Making friends as a new mom is also difficult. It's like putting yourself out in the "dating pool" all over again- but this time not only are you in search of someone that is perfect for you, but also someone whose offspring meshes well with your own.

It's no secret that motherhood isn't easy and much like the brand new short film "Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story" brought to you by Disney Interactive and Google, you need to Create Your Own Motherhood. Listen to the advice that works for you and surround yourself with women and mothers who encourage and support you.

I encourage you to watch the free trailer of "Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story" and I dare you not to immediately fall in love with the story line or beautiful stop-motion animation. Even though there are no words to this film, it's quickly understood the personal struggle that Blank endures as he sets out, unpainted and unsure of his true identity, to find his lost soul mate and place in this new world.

With underlying themes of friendship, love and creativity, this epic adventure serves as the perfect backdrop to a message of true identity for both moms and their children.

Whether you are struggling to find your identity as a new mother or struggling to find other women in your social circle whom you can reach out to for support, or your child is struggling with making new friends and finding their place among their peers, believing in yourself is a great place to start. After all, if you don't believe in yourself now, who will later?
